- 1 block of tempeh about 8 oz
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Fresh vegetables bell peppers, carrots, onions
- Green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Sriracha sauce optional
Slice the tempeh into thin strips.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, maple syrup, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Marinate the tempeh strips for at least 10 minutes.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Add the marinated tempeh strips and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Chop fresh vegetables while the tempeh cooks.
Sauté the vegetables in another pan until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
Serve the tempeh over the sautéed vegetables.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Drizzle with Sriracha sauce if desired.
