Ingredients
  

  • 1 pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: cooked bacon or ham

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream.
  • Add salt and pepper to the egg mixture.
  • Stir in the shredded cheese and chopped vegetables.
  • If using, add cooked bacon or ham to the mixture.
  • Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until set and golden.
  • Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
