- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, and chopped onion.
In a separate bowl, mix milk, ketchup, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
Pour the wet mixture into the meat mixture and combine thoroughly.
Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Spread additional ketchup on top for glaze if desired.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let it rest for 10 minutes after removing from the oven.
